I love using this to browse the web or get updates on my fantasy teams and brackets while relaxing and watching sports from my recliner. The springs have a snug fit which makes it easy to use the iPad in landscape or portrait mode.

I tried to find less expensive alternatives to this stand and only found one that looked like it might fit my home theater seats on Amazon. It was only $25 cheaper and looked like they just stuck a stem under the same stand I bought to set on a table. I decided to bite the bullet and get the HTM tablet stand. Now I didn't buy my seats from HTM, they were from a local retailer. I don't recall the brand but the grommet where the trays and this stand would go look very similar. Thankfuly it fit perfectly. I use an older Amazon Fire HD8 tablet as a control panel for smart home devices. I have a home theater page setup (in a dark mode) to use in the ht room. I keep it plugged it so routing the cable isn't great. Is there a tablet out there with the charging port on the side? Maybe I'll try a 90 degree cable.

This tablet holder is very nicely built and holds my iPad perfectly. Great for keeping tabs on fantasy scores while watching football.

This is a wonderful tablet or phone holder. You can easily turn phone and charge while in holder.

I have a universal remote that uses a tablet as the controller. The tablet holder works great for keeping the tablet in a comfortable position to use and keeps it off the table.

The wife loves this. It is very sturdy and functional. Thanks to Alan for his help in determining if this would work with my brand of chairs.
