Curved Projection Screens
A curved projection screen has many benefits when it comes to home theater. The first benefit is that it envelops you more in the movie. The curved edges allows your peripheral vision to become more involved and immersed than the viewing of a traditional flat screen. This benefit is mostly derived when the curved screen is set up as a 2:35 to 1 or 2:4 to 1 aspect ratio. This is known as anamorphic widescreen. This aspect ratio is seen in most commercial movie theaters. This aspect ratio can now be achieved on most home cinema projectors using lens preset function on the remote. You can also enjoy curved screens using a Panamorph lens attachment to your projector.
