I ordered this armrest to add to the loveseat setup for our theater's seats and it does not disappoint. The piece matches perfectly and looks like it's part of the seating. We can comfortably fit another person on the theater seats without having that awkward 'close to a stranger' feeling simply by having this as a divider. When the wife wants to snuggle closer during those dark and scary scenes, she simply pulls it out from between the to seats and shifts closer. Best of both worlds :)

We received our portable armrest a few days before our seating arrived, and I was really impressed with how great the leather feels. I was of course pleased to find that it's absolutely just as good on the seats themselves. Some other removable armrests like these insert between the backrest and seating areas to be held in place, but this unit smartly has a long extension to fit between the seat bottoms instead, which makes it feel much more secure and look better as well. I'm really glad we didn't cheap out and buy a generic removable armrest...it's absolutely worth it!

I got two 4-seat sofas for my theater as we wanted the flexibility to be able to sit together without armrests as a family, plus it allowed me to fit 4 seats in each row as opposed to only 3 seats. However, if you want armrests while watching something, which I often do if I'm watching something alone, these work perfectly. They simply slide in between the seats and you have a very comfortable arm rest. They also make the seats narrower, which I happen to like, although this could be a problem for someone who is overweight. The only inconvenience is that for the middle seats where the power buttons are located in between the cushions, you do need to remove the armrest to recline, but not a big deal, it only takes a few seconds.

Recently upgraded to a nice black leather theater style couch. Though it does have a middle fold down table, charging port, along with also being an armrest, it wasn't exactly perfect. The fold down armrest is somewhat higher up than I would like, also not any real padding either. Right away I started to search for an add-on armrest that could possibly work and at least somewhat match my new couch. My first priority was it had to be actual leather and not 'faux or PC leather. My search was discouraging at first, what I found most was vehicle add-on armrests, mostly faux leather varieties. Ran across HT Market during my search and found the perfect armrest for my needs. Ordered one at first to see how the quality and matching potential were, before I spent money on two. HT's armrest matches my Seatcraft couch very nicely, not perfect, but I'm sure anyone visiting me and having a seat on my couch would never know that the armrests were not made for it. My couch came with chrome cup holders, but the HT's stainless cup holder does closely match. Even with the tight build quality of the couch, I can easily recline either seat with the armrest in place, with no extreme rubbing, or binding. Love the fact you can install or remove them anytime is great! I can have a 3-chair configuration with them installed, just one installed, or clean couch design, and use the middle drop-down table with them removed. Also when using my couch included tray tables, they block the built in armrest cup holders. These removable HT armrests give you a nice alternate cup holder when not using the drop down table. Like others have said, you do have to be careful when sitting down with a drink already in the holder as the armrest can move around and drinks can spill. With my particular couch they fit pretty tight, and all it takes is a nice smooth, slow sit down, and all is good. The leather is high quality, and super smooth to touch, and the build quality is very nice. Just ordered a second armrest so that I have options in my configuration at any time.

The armrest works great for when you want to divide the loveseat into 2 chairs. The leather matches and it looks good. It is a little 'loose' fitting between the chairs and not as firm as the other fixed armrests but that is expected for one that just pushed down into place - can't say there's anything wrong with it just that it does feel a little different from the other armrests.

I have 2 single chairs and a love seat. This armrest is a nice way to add a middle arm rest to the love seat. It is super easy to put in and take out - it just slides in and out.

I took away a star because the size of the single seats in the loveseat are significantly smaller - there is still room, but it’s more snug and someone who is larger wouldn’t be able to use the cup holder.

I never thought a removable armrest would be a thing that would make such a difference in theater seating, but this is great to section off the sofa part of my seats so everyone has a place to put their drink when there are a lot of people. Great quality and blends right in with the furniture.

I purchased the Warwick set in brown leather after reading good reviews on AVSforum.com Received the seats with curbside delivery and they were packaged very well. I got 4 boxes (110 pounds each) down in my basement all by myself in les than 30 minutes and I saved $279 on the white glove delivery. Once out of the box, I had all 4 seats assembled in less than 10 minutes. It really is that easy. I am impressed with the quality and the leather is top notch. The seats are very comfortable and the recline mechanism is smooth and the led lighting, cupholders and tray tables are all very functional and quality. You get what you pay for and more with the HTmarket seats. The matching portable armrest is also a very functional, yet genius idea for dividing the middle loveseat into separate seating. I would definitely purchase from them again.

I have a set of 5 hamiltons which I really like. The middle 3 seats form a couch, so I picked up 2 of these arm wrests. They actually work quite well if you are careful. I prefer the lower height and thinner chair footprint with these vs the standard chair w/ fixed armwrests. Normal hamiltons are great for watching movies and what not but if I'm playing video games I goto the seat with these. They are more comfortable over extended period of time because they are closer to my body and not too high.

That all being said they do have a couple negatives. I have to take out the armwrest to recline my chair because the controls are there the fin of this sits. Additionally the armwest moves when you sit down. Not a huge deal but if you have a drink, you need to be careful or else you are going to spill it. Once your seated and in place they are stable, but because the hamiltons are heavily padded they are necessarily flat. They "cock-in" a little bit, but minor.

Overall I really like these and I suspect they are about as good of solution you could have for a portable arm wrest. They are built very well and I'm not concerned about my kids breaking them. However they aren't perfect, so docking a star. I would buy these again in a heart beat though.

When trying to pick out a configurations for our seating, my wife and I really wanted to a love seat as we enjoy watching movies close to each other. The removable arm rest was a great addition to provide some separation when we had many guests in the media room. Was very happy we went this direction (partly because my wife told to just get 6 chairs and forget the love seat and now i get to say i was right about something).

These are great if you have a full theater. They give nice separation for the middle seat of a couch configuration. They are super sturdy, with the rudder made of solid wood. Match the Southampton seats perfectly.

We order 4 Southampton seats with Loveseat in the middle and two wedges on each side. Having the removable armrest in the love seat works great when the two people sitting aren't a couple. However, it's really nice to be able to pull it out, and cuddle without the arm rest and share a blanket. Super nice addition and when inserted it looks like it's part of the original chairs. I showed it to friends and they thought it was cool to have the removal arm rest to show-off the love seat.

I have two of these in my home theater to go in the middle of love seat configurations (the middle two seats in a 4 seat row). I must say that they are very well constructed as my daughter loves to lean on, climb on, and sometimes sit on this armrest. She also pulls it out and puts it on the floor when she wants to cuddle during a "scary" part of the animated children's movies. The armrests show no signs for wear and I was a bit worried that the vertical portion that goes between the seats may become loose. That hasn't happened yet and I am confident that it never will. They are well constructed and do a great job as an armrest/drink holder too!

Due to room size, I had to order a four seat theater combo that used a love seat configuration for the two middle seats. The insert worked fine with no interference with the electric control. The leather was not a perfect color match but was close enough particularly when lights turned down for viewing.

The armrests are beautiful and my wife and I couldn't be more happy.

I have a Green Leather couch and cannot find a green leather arm rest. I used this, but it is brown. Fortunately, my wife left me so it's not a big deal. My ex would have made me have it dyed green or something to match her color scheme.

We bought a leather reclining loveseat but my husband was disappointed it did not have a middle armrest. I have spent a year looking for something to use as an armrest and cupholder.
