HTDesign packs its home theater seating in very sturdy boxes with multiple layers of packing material. We want to make sure your seating arrives in top condition. Our video shows how to remove the seat safely from the carton. There is one seat per carton including the bottom of the seat and the back of the chair. This makes it easy to ship and set up in your home. We show you the layers of packing material in the box and what is included in the box.

HTDesign Addison Seats Set Up and Install

In this video we show how easy it is to set up and install your HTDesign theater seating. In this example, we show our Addison model being set up. The set up is easy as in each box you will get everything you need to set up the chair. The box includes a bottom of one seat and the back of the chair. In the power chairs we include power cords and transformer. You simply tip the chair and unravel the cord and plug into the wall. Watch for yourself.

Soft and comfortable.

I really never ordered a couch site unseen before so I was a bit concerned especially with the delivery company. Thankfully everything arrived without issue. I ordered the 3 row loveseat right side facing. They are very easy to put together. The fabric is very soft and the chairs are very well padded. I do with they came in other colors as black shows every crumb, but thankfully they are easy to clean. The reclining mechanism and fast and quiet. I put some poster putty under the feet as these are sitting on a wood floor and will slide around, solved the issue for me. When my other couch needs replaced and will be ordering another set.

Awesome microfiber seats

I really wanted microfiber seats which is hard to find in theater seating, I really hate how leather is sticky in the summer and cold in the winter. These seats are very soft and plush, and very comfortable to sit in. They are also very reasonably priced for theater seating and its great how they come in any layout you want. We opted to get two 4-seat sofas so that we could sit together as a family without arm rests between us, plus we were able to squeeze in an additional seat into each row as well. I'm so happy we got these seats as it has made our home theater an incredibly comfortable place to watch a movie or show.

Time will tell how well these will really hold up, but so far so good. We wanted microfiber seats so our options were extremely limited. These were shipped extremely quick and arrived 2 days after they were shipped.

Theater Seats are PERFECT!

It's a bit nerve-racking to spend a sizable amount of money on furniture without having tried it, but based on other reviews, I decided to go for it. So glad I did! The seats arrived in perfect condition. The only assembly needed was to slide on the backs. They look beautiful and, most importantly, THEY FEEL GREAT! The foam is just the right firmness and supports my lower back perfectly. The micro-fiber material is very soft and luxurious. They recline very smoothly and quietly. I have absolutely nothing critical or negative to say about these seats!

My only minor complaint about the whole process was that the shipping company called to schedule delivery then never showed up. I called them and found out they had to transfer the shipment to another company for delivery. I don't know why - they just said they couldn't deliver it. And didn't bother to call me. So, I contacted the new shipping company and arranged delivery 2 days later. So, a slight delay in receiving the product due to a shipping company that seems to be communication challenged is my only gripe. Not HT Market's fault, but maybe they'll follow up on this to prevent it from happening to others - or look into other shipping companies to use.

Again, the seats are fabulous and I highly recommend HT Market. You will not be disappointed!

I like these chairs a lot

These chairs arrived fairly quickly once they were shipped. There was one snag to my order, but HTMarket did everything possible to fix it. For some reason a very small portion of the leather was scuffed when it was opened up. The scuff occurred before dying because the scuff was completely black like the rest of the chair. So for some reason the factory let that piece slip through the cracks. Since it's at the bottom of the foot rest, it's not very noticeable. In fact, you really have to look close to see it. I was sent fabric conditioner and cleaner to try and buff it out, but nothing worked. I was told if I really wanted to replace that portion of the chair we could do that, but since it's not really noticeable I declined (at least for now). I'll let time determine if the issue gets worse or stays the same.

The tray tables and cup holders...very nice. The tray tables will show fingerprints fairly quickly though, so be prepared to clean them often. The silver cup holders liners come out of the cup holder base so if you need a little more room for you cups you can make some room.

I like that the chairs don't lock together. That makes moving them difficult. But these don't shift out of place unless you're really trying to move them. So no worries there.

I'm not really a fan of power recliners, but these were less expensive than the ones without so I went ahead and got these. They are a little on the slow side but they work fine. You may have to lift your feet off the footrest to get it locked into position.

The previous review covers pretty much everything pretty well. I just thought I'd throw in a few extra details of my specific experience.

Pros

Chairs do not lock together (see review above). Leather. USB charging port. Ability to add tray table. Cup holder liners are removable for more space. I also love the arm storage.

Cons

may have to lift feet to have footrest lock into position

Very pleased with my Addison seating

I was looking for top grain leather, power recline, usb charging, no led, and stainless steel cup holders, and the Addison fit the bill perfectly. It was challenging to find this combination!

I'm not a fan of the blue led lights on many models. If I want to do LED lighting, I'm going to have it integrated with my smart home and dimmable through voice activation like all of my other lighting.

I also like the location of the switch on this model as opposed to built into the cupholder which to me looks a little cheap. There is a blue light on the switch which also contains the charger, but it is inconspicuous. The switch itself looks to be very good quality.

The power recline is very smooth and quiet. I don't get any noise from the leather at all, like I've read for some others. I don't have a lot to compare it to since these are my first power recliners, but they seem pretty quick to go up and down.

The black leather seems top quality and smells great - like new leather should. Time will tell, but I feel confident in the quality.

Comfort is very good with the chairs. It's not a lay flat type of comfort if that's what you are looking for, but I wasn't expecting that with theater seating. I find myself using a pillow when watching TV if I am reclined to the max position.

I purchased the white glove delivery, which overall did cause some delay in the shipping as the white glove carrier had to receive it, find time to call me, and then schedule the delivery. Overall I think I would still do it again, although just be aware that if you are in a hurry, there could be a delay.

Customer Service was very good. I contacted htmarket via email several times, both pre sale (with questions) and post sale (due to white glove) and they were extremely responsive.

Overall, I would recommend the Addison for those looking for the same features as I was. I would also recommend htmarket for their top notch customer service.
