We had a row of 5 Hamilton Theater seats delivered yesterday, and we are very pleased with them. The white glove delivery was timely, professional and the seats showed up with absolutely no cosmetic or structural issues. They are very comfortable, both for me (6' 1") and my wife and kids who are much smaller. My wife had some of her girlfriends over last night who sat in the chairs and said "I don't care what we watch, but we are coming over to watch a movie this week!" And I caught a nice nap in one of them today as well. We're only 2 days in, but we've had a fabulous experience so far both with the service during the sales process and delivery, as well as the product. Thanks HT Market!!!

I purchased a row of three for the tv room, the product and customer service have exceeded expectations!

Prior to owning the HT Design Hamilton chairs, I had a row of 4 home theater seats that had reclining through the use of a lever. A couple of times, the cable connected to the lever had snapped through wear and tear and had to be replaced. These new motorized chairs are whisper quiet and easy to operate. The chairs themselves are super comfortable and everyone using them in this household from my 14-year old boy to my 88-year old mother-in-law couldn't be happier.

Where do I start. These theater seats were purchased site unseen. I did a lot of researching and people’s review of different theater seats and these by far out weight my expectations. They are plush, comfortable and look really good in my theater room. I had actually bought some seats from another retailer and they arrived damaged and didn’t look like what was pictured. They didn’t make it through the front door. So, to say that I was skeptical to purchase another product from another online store is an understatement. All I can say is these chairs are awesome and I mean awesome. My wife and kids love them and so do I. If you have any doubts about buying from HT Market don’t. My chairs shipped quickly and was packaged very well (no damage upon arrival). If I had to do it all over again, I would not hesitate.

I received my chairs 1 day before I was supposed to and was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the product and how easy it was to.put the chairs together once I put them together and sat in them ,very comfortable chair me being 6ft 2in fit me perfectly would recommend this product to friends .

After years of consideration and planning I finally took on and completed transitioning our family room into a theatre room this winter. While I had a projector and screen that more than met my needs seating was always a negative so I set out to develop a room that is perfect for watching movies and\or a sporting event. I knew what I wanted which included a raised platform with two rows of seats and a small beverage snack/bar area behind the seats. When it came to selecting my seats I did comprehensive research both online and all the brick and mortar stores for theatre seats. Of course I found the selection possibilities were nearly endless and the quality differences almost as significant. After finding HT Market in one of the online chat rooms I began to look at their array of seats. Man am I glad I did! Again after lots of research and reading the ratings (something I am always very skeptical of) I narrowed my targets to the HT Design Somerset and Southhamptons, both clearly different seats but with good reviews. I called to speak to a sales rep at HT and began working with Tom. I must say, what a great experience, I expected high pressure car salesman type but got the exact opposite. Tom was very helpful, never pushed me to purchase or in a different direction and quickly earned my trust that he knew what he was talking about. On the second call Tom asked me if I had looked at the Hamiltons, I had and although I liked the design I didn't know if they were enough better than the two other choices. Again, he never pushed me but simply advised me of his opinion and of the differences of the chairs. After a few more calls to Tom I made the choice to purchase two rows of 3 of the Hamiltons. I received my chairs a week later, could have been sooner but I asked them to hold shipping over the weekend so I could finish up my room. The shipper that delivered my chairs was courteous and very helpful in offloading and getting them to my temporary spot until I could move them into my room. Once I started moving these chairs around I began to notice the quality. Yes you can move them alone but NOT without a cart, these are not cheaply built light weight chairs, they are very solid and thus quite heavy. Set up was very easy and all mechanism fit perfect, lights on each seat work and the power seats work without fail. Some reviewers have indicated leather rubbing noise while reclining, my chairs do not make that noise to date and the power mechanism is very quiet. When my wife came into the room I knew I made the right choice as she said "wow, very nice, I love them." I told her to sit in one if she felt the looked nice and see what she felt about the comfort level. Again, she was amazed and very pleased. Since install, everyone that has come into the room immediately say WOW and when they sit in them they say it again. I am very pleased with my choice and am convinced based on my experience with talking with Tom that if I would ever have a problem that HT Market would help me in any way the could to resolve it.

We purchased a row of four Hamilton's and love them. The lights are a little bright but not too distracting. Very comfortable to sit in for extended movie watching sessions. Warm, spacious, quiet and functional. Thanks to Alan and TJ for making a great sale!

These are very comfortable seats - We tried them all! The biggest challenge for us was figuring out how to get them out of the garage and into our theater room in the basement. Fortunately the chairs are delivered with the backrest apart from the seat and wrapped together with a protective covering, so it was pretty easy to slide them down the stairs. There are some sharp edges on the bottom, so careful not to scratch any woodwork on the door jams. Another alternative would be to unwrap everything and handle the seat separately from the back. Carrying the seat by itself is fairly manageable. I looked at lot of seats and these were perfect for our needs.

I have always wanted a media center (man cave) for my home. So two years ago I bought a projection tv with a 120 inch screen, 11 speakers, two great subs, a receiver, three channel amp, turntable, Roku, and a very good dvd player but something was missing-theater seats. I loved at various store in Southern California but found chairs that were cheap or very expensive. One chair I liked started out with a good price but then added more money for leather, power, trays and lighted cup.. I then started looking through the Internet and came across HT Market. I liked the Devonshire model and called up and spoke to Tom. Tom suggested that I go with the Hamilton because it was similar to the Devonshire. On faith, I bought the Hamilton chairs with white glove delivery and the warranty. The chairs arrived in about a week and the two men set up the chairs and removed the packaging materials. The three chairs are beautiful and very comfortable. When watching a movie, I sometimes fall asleep in the chair. Friends have come and over and stated that the chairs are more comfortable than the ones found in theaters. I am very happy with the chairs. Everything works well, no squeaks. I would gladly recommend these chairs.

I shopped many of the local stores carrying Home theater seating in the broader Indianapolis area. From this investigative work I found there was dramatic differences in quality among the various options. Any chairs of this quality were at least double the price of the best price I could negotiate at any of the brick and mortar options.

I stumbled upon HT Market via AVSforum reviews and was impressed with their reviews of HT Markets in-house brand and their favorable comparison to top end major brands.

These Hamilton' seats are fantastic. Very nice top grain leather, comfortably stuffed and solid design. Really worth the money and then some.

I purchased a curved row of three with curbside delivery. Packaged well and was able to move to my basement, unbox and setup in an hour (watch the setup video on the HT Market site) with minimal help from my wife.

This is my second time ordering these chairs! Sold the first ones with my house, and bought a new set when I moved into my new place. Super comfy, great support, and they look awesome! My new house wasn't complete until they arrived.

I added a row of three chairs to my small home movie theater. These chairs are soft and very comfortable. I have had them now for 2 years and they are still in great shape. They still recline without any issues. Over time they have become softer and even more comfortable. If I had more space I would get more of the same type.

My wife and I ordered 7 of the Hamilton seats in the black leather. We went with the curved 4 (middle loveseat) and 3 curved in front configuration. When i had some questions around dimensions, platform, etc. the fellas were very helpful and responsive to my requests. The chairs cost a pretty penny and they should. They are large, striking chairs. The squeaking when others reclined has not been experienced with my set so i can only assume that it has been fixed by the HT design team. It only took about a week to get the seats to which my commercial interior designer of a wife stated, "that is a really short lead time!" The chairs were packaged perfectly, were in perfect shape, came with all the correct number of cup holder inserts and computer trays. I didn't really want to buy this large of a purchase online sight unseen but as i'm sure many have experienced it is very hard to find stores that carry quality home theater furniture that isn't either the most expensive or cheapest ever made. After doing a couple months of research i chose the Hamilton because comfort was the main decision factor for my family. I decided to take the expert's advice and follow the HTMarket recommendation. I was right to do so and my wife even said, "you we're right honey, these are great!" All 3 of my children slept in a chair the first 3 nights we had them setup. If I had to think of a negative i would only note that the led light strip on the bottom of the chairs is so bright it illuminates the TV wall/area when chair is reclined. Simple fix in my opinion and not a big deal because the lit cup holder is sweet! We were so impressed with the chairs that my wife has chosen to propose HTMarket as a supplier for one of her high-end commercial clients theater needs.

I guess if i were to change anything it would be to have the ground effect light and cup holder light be on separate switches. Only regret that we have is that we should've ordered 2 more seats (1 additional for each row), but that will happen in time.

I've had these things for a couple of months now and I have to say there isn't one person that has sat in them to watch a movie that didn't love them. Plain and simple. The power recline, cupholders and lighting make them for a truly great experience.

I am a very large person, 300 lbs, and I can not believe how comfortable they have been for me. If you are a larger person, the width of these chairs works out extremely well. The customer service was top notch as well. I did have an issue with a power recline on one of my three seats and after a couple of emails and one phone call, a replacement part was sent and I was able to fix the issue within an hour.

This is a very well designed chair with the practicality of design it's key. There are a couple of things that could be changed to make the chair "better" but would likely skyrocket the cost. To get the chair just a little better you'd probably have to increase the price by 50%.

I spent a couple of years deciding on what chairs to purchase and buying them online and untested was a gamble. I have to say it was a great decision and I have to add, in my opinion, there is not a better deal out there anywhere for theater seating.

I spent many months planning and researching my home theater. The seats were my biggest concern. I couldn't feel or see the seats before having them delivered. I want to thank HT Market for pointing me to these seats. The arrived and are awesome. Maybe better than the ones at the Chain movie theaters.
If you are tall these are the ones! They are plenty wide so you don't feel squished.

I'm 6'2'7 350 pounds and I fit in these chairs like they were custom made for me. They look great and always receive compliments on them.

The blue lights in the front row tend to reflect off my screen too much so I don't really use them when watching movies.

I Ordered 9 seats after having issues with another company that was miserable to work with. Ht Design was honest, forthcoming and an excellent value! The seats work great and you wont be disappointed

These chairs are very nice. I was skeptical about buying them untested and unseen but I am very happy. The construction seems sound. The seats are very soft and cushioned. I am 6'4" 230lbs and I feel fully supported. These chairs are great for tall people.

The Hamiltons are extremely well built chairs and high quality leather. I purchased 2 rows of four (full chairs with armrests). While they are really heavy they are really easy to put together. The are packaged well with plastic and protective sheet over the furniture inside the box. Accessories are also bubble wrapped inside the arm rest compartment. The descriptions say the arm rest compartments are finished out. I thought that meant nice plastic or wood finish. Nope it is leather in there too. There is a lot of detail that went into these chairs and it really shows. They are very comfortable and I am 6'2 and 200lbs. No issues at all reclining or support. They seem to have more support than my lazy boy recliner and definitely more comfortable. Alan was very helpful answering all my questions and I would buy again from him in the future.

As my family moved to a new home and I was finally able to realize my 20 something year dream of building a home theater. I quickly realized how daunting the (re)search of equipment and furnishing was. The toughest came down to home theater seating, mainly because most (in my price range) options were online and making such a large purchase on furniture I couldn't sit in was terrifying.

In comes Alan of HTMarket. I have NEVER experienced customer service like this. He answered my detailed and likely annoying questions in email form as well as online chat rooms. As I went back and forth on different chairs and companies, he patiently calmed my concerns without ever diving too far into a sales pitch.

Ended up landing on the Hamilton seat per Alan's suggestions for what I was looking for: Extra plush seat, durable and easy to clean, maximum recline with good lumbar support. Believe it or not Alan talked me out of the more expensive chairs in his arsenal due to what i was looking for.

Alan and Tom processed my order, continued to answer my questions, and within THREE days the six chairs were at my curb. The driver generously helped bring them into the drive way and even pointed out one box was damaged and asked me to take pictures of it. After inspecting, the chair was completely fine.

The chairs were an ease to set up. The boxes were easy to carry with moving straps; taking the individual pieces out of the box worked as well to carry them downstairs.

Sitting in them was exactly what I hoped for. They were soft and comfortable; clearly they required break in to get to complete bliss. I have had the chairs now for ~4 months and they are perfect. They are as beautiful as the day they were purchase and now can sit in them for hours (had a nice movie marathon yesterday which reminded me to write this review). The channels in the seats allow for a couple of different comfort positions which really worked out great. The design of the chairs is spot on for comfort. I do find my self grabbing a pillow from time to time when fully reclined, but not always. The top portion of the chair is very well padded. Would an adjustable headrest be nice? Probably, but not worth the hundreds of dollars in my opinion given everyone probably has a few pillows in their house.

We have seated everyone from under 5 feet tall to 6'3 and absolutely no complaints. Note if you are under 5'9 or so, feet will dangle from the ground when sitting in the chairs - don't see this as a problem at all. We were worried about getting chairs which will fit all of our guests; Alan reassured me the Hamiltons will feed our needs and he was not wrong.

I got a set of 6 (3 Left, 3 Right) and an insert\able arm rest. As far as configuration, I strongly recommend having a love seat option like this for the couples; we weren't sure how a reclining love seat would operate but it's excellent (to clarify, it's two seats which recline separately in this case). Then when company comes over, just put in the arm rest and you are good to go - almost no one recognizes that the arm rest is removable or different than the others.

Overall, couldn't be happier in anyway with the purchase or the experience. Thank you so much Alan, Tom, and rest of HTMarket!! Love your company and your products (a co-worker friend of my house the South Hamptons, which are also spectacular).

I just received a set of 4, with a middle loveseat. Very comfortable for myself and wife. I'm 5'10" and about 190. The quality is excellent. I've been to many different furniture stores and sat in many different theater seats. These are at least as good as the best seats I've sat in. I also have multiple Flexsteel leather recliner pieces (2 couches and a chair) and these seem to be at least as good as those. Very good value. I will say that I bought the removable arm rest for between the loveseat. It does sit a little higher due to the cusioning of the seats. I was told/warned prior to ordering it that it was that way and I'll still use it to help keep the kids from battling while sitting in the middle. GREAT customer service!

Very nice home theater chairs. The high quality leather is soft, supple and comfortable. The mechanism is quiet and seems to be robust. It operates in a sensible way, making it especially useful.
The leather-on-leather "squeak" has worked itself out on the chairs we use most frequently, but it wasn't objectionable to begin with.
The various features all work well. Light switches could benefit from a variable control but, . . . eh . . . not so bad. The under-chair lighting is very nice and useful. Not intended for use during a movie. All the controls are quite sensitive, but I'd complain more if they were insensitive.
The included tables are ideal. The add-on pillows are VERY full, but are easy to modify because of an accessible but hidden zipper. Nice. The add-on tablet holder is nicely designed.
I couldn't find an ideal location for my bass shakers, mostly because I wasn't willing to modify the layout under these new chairs. I chose to instead design and build simple 4" platforms and mount the shakers underneath and sit the chairs on top. Works ideally for a theater room, but probably not so much for a living room setting. But, wow, it can be set to earthquake-level if desired.

We purchased 7 of these for our theater, and love them! We get compliments constantly about how comfortable they are. I really like the high back, I am 6'4" and sit very comfortably in them. We tried out many others from other manufacturers and none of them were high enough in the back for me. If you are a tall person, these are just the answer. They are a bit noisy when they move from the leather rubbing, but not a deal breaker by any means. I have been told that you can put powder in the areas, but it isn't a bother so I haven't done it. Overall, great purchase and very happy! (Sorry about the picture being so dark :))

I got my Hamilton's delivered this week. Very fast shipping! Set up was simple and took maybe 30 mins. As soon as you sit in them, you're going to be amazed at how comfortable they are. These seats really made a difference in my theater- as it feels much more authentic now. I highly recommend these for anyone looking to take that next step in building a home theater.

We drove to Chicago from Wisconsin which was a 2 hour drive to check out the chairs. Tom was very pleasant go deal with and very knowledgeable. It was between the Devonshire and the Hamilton. We picked the Hamilton due to being a bit more comfortable and plush. We ordered 4 of them (love seat in the middle and picked curved row). Very quick shipping and seems like great quality besides a couple issues. I noticed the wooded feet on 2 of the chairs were chipped and also one of the led light strips on the button of the chair isn't working. HTMARKET said they contact the manufacturer to see about sending me new feet. For the led they will send me a new strip. Other than those 2 issues, I'm very impressed so far!!!

The chairs look great and are very comfortable. The USB charger is a great accessory. The touch controls are easy to use, perhaps just a little too easy. Resting my left arm on the left arm rest can accidentally raise or lower the seats or turn the chair lights on. But these are nits. The chairs are a great deal. The leather is not butter soft, but it is good quality and the padding is great. They were very easy to set up.

We had considered some of Costco's on-line offers, but none were quite satisfactory. The chairs on special at the time were only 22-inches wide. I am 6'1" and my sons are all over six-feet tall, so we were concerned that they would be a tight fit. The Hamiltons should fit just about anyone. The other issue with Costco was that you could only buy the specified layouts. There was no way to get a three-seater plus a two-seater. The Hamiltons can be configured just about any way you want.

First off, I'm totally pleased with my purchase. This chair is just so comfortable, it's easy to doze off in the middle of a film if you're not careful. I had been in the market for a nice chair since just after Christmas, first trying all the local big name furniture stores, and then eventually moving on to the internet to see what was available. Reading review after review on a dozen sites & chairs, I found myself coming back to the HT Market site in terms of not only quality and pricing, but overall customer experience. As for the Hamilton itself, I'm totally in love with this chair. I can only echo what others have said in terms of quality and comfort, but this chair is just awesome.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have shopped around at all furniture stores in Northern California it seems and i just could not find what i was looking for that had the coolness factor as these do..These chairs are comfy. I feel like i am floating on them they are so supportive. I have taken many naps and fallen asleep during movies and shows so quite possibly too comfortable :)..Great lumbar and head, & leg support.
